What mental health course do I need?
The Mental Health courses are in 3 levels that link together as modules. Each course is designed to fulfil the needs of different people in your team
For the lead person who will support and sign post staff, as it covers a wider range of Mental Health issues and support skills.
Sometimes they may already be a physical first aider. But the physical first aider may not have a role that that they can manage thier worklaod to make time or it may not suit their skill set.
This is often a person who’s role means they can arrange their workload to meet the mental health needs of staff.
This course is ideal for the person who will be doing the majority of support, awareness and signposting.
A 2 day course that incluces the Level 4 & 5 modules
Ideal for team leaders and supervisors or those who directly manage a team gives them an overview and skill set to sign post and support.
This covers the basic Mental Health issues and begins to develop the skills to support and signpost staff.
Covers alcohol and drugs and gives people the skills and confidence to start a conversation, and provide support and guidance to professional help.
This course includes the Level 3, four hour courses
A 4 hour course that give you an overview of mental health.
Ideal for managers and those that need an understanding of mental health but will not be offering direct support and sign posting themselves.
This Level 4 course is aslo the first module in the 1 day and 2 day Mental Health courses.
