Designed to meet the needs of those working away from immediate assistance (more than 30 min) in the remote and rural regions of the UK
Meets the needs of all outdoor instructors, climbers, paddlers and hill walkers. Suitable for Gillies, stalker and estate workers.
This is a hands-on course with lots of practice doing, outdoor scenarios and focuses on realistic options. We aim to spend time outside on both days, so bring clothes you don’t mind getting wet and muddy as outdoor accidents never happen in the classroom!
The course is delivered by a mountaineering instructor, canoe leader and gorge guide who lives and works on the Scottish mountains.
Only 6 people on the course to follow current advice on First Aid training. We shall send on a short health questionnaire before the course, provide gloves, face mask and sanitizer for the parts of HSE complaint assessment when you do need to have contact with one other person. You will have sole use of a CPR mannequin. If you display any symptoms and are unable to attend we will provide anther course with no loss of deposits or offer a full refund.
